Updating destination list failed

I am trying to set up the printer and scanning features on this machine .

I got the printer option to work but I am having difficulties with scanning .

Is there any way to get rid of this notification/error on the copier 'Updating the destination list has failed. We are using scanrouter lite for 3 older copiers, this copier is not listed as an I/O device. Don't have a 5050, but it should be the same Ricoh control panel menu convention.---------------------------- Thank you This reply from Savin has resolved it.

Make sure that this setting is Off as this is the setting for communication with the Scanrouter server and will cause the error when the machine isn't talking to a server or is talking to one with the wrong version of Scanrouter.

The memory device is full and scan data cannot be saved.

Also tried updating manually but the screen just says please wait.

This is the first time i've seen this set up (Network Delivery Server) as i'm only familiar with scan to folder on the newer ricoh equipment. So the scan is working ok i just can't add any or delete any users in the address book.

then go into the device web page using the IP address ie: 192.168xxx.

go to configuration and smb create a user name ie: bill then point the device to the computer you created the folder on, ie: bill's pc/c:scans save the configuration log out of the web utility reboot the device and you should have succesfully created an smb folder share.I'm having the same exact issue at this moment w/ a 2035 P/S.Im getting the same error as above and no, there is no setting that allows you to turn off the delivery server (at least not in the areas you suggested). It was on a screen I would not have thought to check since the ip was 0.0.0.0. It sounds like a setting has been turned on accidentally on the machine itself. The issue seems to be caused by a problem with the inheritable permissions on the user account. Find the user account that you are trying to move, pull up it’s Properties click the Security Tab then Advanced.Check the box that says Include inheritable permissions from the object’s parent. your best bet would be to set up using SMB scan to folder.
